  12. When Mozart was composing at the end of eighteenth century,
  13. the city of Vienna was so quiet that fire alarms could be
  14. given verbally, by a shouting watchman mounted on top of
  15. St. Stefan`s cathedral. In twentyfirst-century society,
  16. the noise level is such that it keeps knocking our bodies
  17. out of tune and out of their natural rhythms. This ever
  18. increasing assault of sound upon our ears, minds, and
  19. bodies adds to the stress load of civilized beings
  20. trying to live in a highly complex enviroment.

  25. "Serenity of Silence" is dedicated to
  26. Ann Mary H. with all my heart and soul.
  27.  
  28. Serenity of Silence is my contribution for the polish
  29. diskmagazine Legend`s 2nd issue. The use of active
  30. channels is been reduced so that the magazine would
  31. run on a slower computer nicely. Also the song is
  32. looped so it would run continuously. Besides these,
  33. there are no other changes made compared to the public
  34. release. This song is also my entry for the Heavenly
  35. Music Competition 3.
